How to eat when on the GO GO GO

Lately a lot of people have been adjusting back to "normal" life and have been running around with a crazy schedule. At times we begin to forget to eat as it seems not important at the time but in the long run consuming food full of nutrients is very important for the body to function. With the high amount of stress many people have been facing making sure the body is full of fuel, aka food, is important in brain function and energy needed to complete daily jobs.

So what are some things you can start doing being on the GO...

First, understand that taking time to yourself to focus on healthy living and eating is nothing to be worried about. All the things that are needed to get done will get done. Making sure you're getting the healthy foods you need might just give you the energy you need to finish your work or give you more speed and is something to put on top priority.

1. Meal Prep: prepare meals in advance, always take the time the night before to pack yourself some food to munch on during the day. No one likes being starving and working at the same time.

2. Take a quick 15 minute break to hydrate and eat: Even with a busy schedule make sure to put yourself first when it comes to mental, physical, and nutritional health. Work can resume in 15 minutes.

3. Learn the area your around and what places you can stop that provide healthy foods at a quick pace: many great healthy fast food options have been becoming increasingly popular and are great options to stop at in between runs.

At the end of the day it is important to STOP and make sure you are getting the food your body needs to keep running throughout the day. Looking at these tips will help you find a balance of what works for you and what doesn't. Make sure you eat a balanced diet throughout the day your brain and body will be happy you did.

For some individuals - or arguably most individuals - it can be hard to make time for nutrition when life is so busy. I think you offered some very practical advice that people can really apply to their everyday life.
