What does guacamole offer nutritionally?
↪ Guacamole is primarily made up of avocados. Nutritionally, avocados are filled with healthy fats and other nutrients (vitamins C, K, E, riboflavin, niacin, folate, magnesium, and potassium). Healthy fats are essential for every cell in our body and help keep us full and stabilize our blood sugar levels! There are several other benefits - avocados also contain beta-sitosterol which helps maintain regular cholesterol levels, 2 phytochemicals lutein and zeacanthin) which help with eye protection, and fiber which helps with your digestive system and GI symptoms (constipation, diarrhea).
Recipe for traditional guacamole:
Ingredients
↪ 1 small onion, finely chopped
↪1 ripe tomato, chopped
↪ 1 clove garlic, minced
↪ 1 lime, juiced
↪ salt and pepper to taste
Directions
↪ Mash avocado into a bowl
↪ stir in the remaining ingredients
↪ chill in the fridge for 30 minutes and enjoy!

I love guac!! Avocados are my fav healthy fat and I will have to try some of these guac variations!
