Banana Cake... Yummy!

Today I will be sharing a quick nutrition spin on chocolate cake! This is similar to the black bean brownies twist but the difference here is bananas...yes!! Do you ever have any brown, ripe bananas laying around? Instead of banana bread or muffins you can use them to make chocolate cake. The way you do it is simple! You take 5-6 ripe bananas and mash them in a bowl with the back of a spoon. The riper the bananas the easier it is to mash.  Add in a chocolate cake mix. Instead of adding 3 eggs and all that oil you simply add 1 egg and just 1-2 tablespoons of water! It has a little bit of a thicker consistency but the cake is sooooo moist! Instead of cooking it for 30-40 minutes, I cooked it for about 28 minutes in a 13 by 9 inch pan and it came out perfect. It has a slight hint of banana and is absolutely delicious! I topped it with 3/4 of a container of chocolate icing and a few dark chocolate chips. It also works great with vanilla cake mix as well. Please remember, this is just a healthier spin.. it is still cake so eat it within moderation! Great dessert to treat yourself with!
